One for the books -- albeit the Cadron still hasn't peaked it has already set a record that will likely never be beaten.
The highest recorded level for Cadron Creek in the month of September occurred on September 22, 1971 (Hurricane Edith) when it peaked at 5,740 cfs.
Today the creek is at 12,700 cfs and still rising.

Will post upon my return -- halway to the Pacific NW right now. But before leaving I went out last night trying to beat Howard Elliott's record run -- he reports that he once ran CCO to Highway 285 in less than 2 hours one winter. Yesterday evening -- CCO to Highway 65 launch to beach in just over 20 minutes, Just about got there before honey bunny could set up the shuttle. Crazy water!
