Good boat for skinny 6'3 guy?

Post by kayakmamma » Tue Sep 02, 2008 2:32 pm

Yes, it's for a friend.
I'd like an old boat (ie cheap) for a tall and skinny guy wanting to learn to paddle. Any suggestions? Does anyone have one they'd be happy to unload at rendezvous? He's kind of a letter L too (big feet).

Forget the boat, how is sideshow bob going to fit all that hair under a helmet?

But seriously, check with Chester. He's like 7'2". Any boat that fits him should be a good candidate.

I am about 6 foot 146 pounds and I drive Pyranha Stretch M/L and a 6'5 person could fit in it easily. It has plenty of adjustment in the outfiting for leg room. It was around 675 new.
One of these days we will be able to run the Cadron without seeing a tire.

I'm 6'3, 185 and have a size 14 foot.

I paddle a Pyranha 420 m/l and I fit in it great. Most comfortable boat I have had.

If you live in Memphis, you better have a good vehicle and lots of gas money!
