Left Behind - Labor Day Float @ Dragover

What about Remmel dam to Rockport on Monday? Not positive yet but am trying to work it out. Another party to shuttle with would be cool.

If water levels are adequate, we're planning to float Dragover on Labor Day. We'd like to put in further up river if anyone wants to work out a shuttle with us. Of course, if Li Mo has water, that's hard to pass up! Only been on it once & absolutely loved it!! I'll keep watching this thread & can make a definate plan later on . . . .

ok, here's the plan, as of Thurday evening. Of course, we are kayakers and alway subject to change our minds!
As of right now, weather permitting and water level permitting ....

Saturday:Remmel Dam to Rockport (Malvern exit). This is a great place for those new students of Lupe's to try out paddling on a little moving water!!!! Time to be determined later!

Monday, Labor Day: Dragover (past Mt. Harbour aways!) more than likely or possibly Lil Mo. To be determined later ...

BUT, It's a PLAN!!!!

Sorry Chester .... Didn't get a good enough tan to go to Spring River and compete against those college girls!!!

I'll be driving up to Dragover Labor Day Monday (unless Little Mo comes back up) & will follow the board to see what's happening & maybe we'll run into each other if that's OK.

EVERYONE ON DECK!!! OR ON THE LEDGE! OR AT THE LEDGE!!!!!

We have a plan! Per the Kruegers that are computerless at the moment! You just thought I was the cruise director .... if it goes well, then I am the cruise director ... if not, you know I am just working for the big wigs!!!!

Plan A of the weekend .....

We are meeting at 10:30 am Saturday, at Rockport ledge. We will shuttle up to Remmel Dam.
Bring Lunch and Jim doesn't want to see a bunch of healthy trail mix! He wants you to bring cheetos and good stuff! We will discuss Plans for paddling trip B (Monday) while we eat lunch!

We will be finished in time for those of you that need to get back and watch the game! (It's too hot for football season so some of us may hang around the ledge and body surf!!!)

This is a great first time float place for newbies .... if you want to join us and don't know where the ledge is .... Take the Malvern exit where Wal-Mart is .... turn between Wendy's and McDonald's. You will see a brown sign that says white water part. Drive alongside Wal-Mart, over the little bridge and go behind Holiday Inn Express (being built). At the end of that street, turn right and drive until you see some fun looking folks hanging around their vehicles.

What a GREAT Day to float from Remmel to Rockport! Enjoyed floating with everyone Saturday!
Now, to our Part II of this Labor Day weekend party!

Let's move this party on down the river, or is it up the river???

Monday, we will float Dragover. It is FUN! We do need a count if you want to carpool with us, otherwise, meet us at Dragover @ 10:30 am on Monday!
Don't forget, we will eat afterwards ... I think it is some Roadside grill place!

See you Monday and if you want to carpool, we need to know.

Is Monday's paddle a run of the Dragover loop only or will additional sections of the river be included? That'll let me determine which vehicle to bring.
