Woody's on the Eleven Point

Post by Jason O » Sun Aug 10, 2008 3:10 pm

Is this place still open. I haven't used them in a few years and the number I have for them is no longer in service. 870-892-9732 is the number that I have. Anyone have a different one? Thanks for any help.

Couldn't find a different phone number, but based on the below; you could try directory assistance based on listings for "Pocahontas AR" and see if they have an up to date number.

Found one post dated middle 2007 commented that the campground is now owned by Woody's son, who doesn't get to the area often... so it is possible that they have gone out of business.

Great for those lower Eleven Point trips into Arkansas
Located 4 miles North of Dalton Arkansas
9931 Hwy 93 Pocahontas AR 72455
(870) 892-9732

Ooooops. I did not realize you were talking about the lower Eleven Point. But I think Woody's was the name at Alton before it changed owners and became Eleven Point River Canoe Rental

On the upper Eleven Point down to Riverton:
This is my favorite outfitter on the Eleven Point. http://www.hufstedlers.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Since we take our own canoes we use them for camping and shuttling only.

I think Woody's became Eleven Point River Canoe Rental a few years ago. http://www.11pointcanoe.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I also think I may have just had a senior moment.
