Grand Canyon Adventure Move - River at Risk

Post by mloving » Sun Aug 03, 2008 8:12 am

I saw the Grand Canyon Adventure movie at an IMAX theater this weekend. It was pricey and short (about 45:00). It is about a trip thru the Grand Canyon: two ww kayaks, two oar rafts, one paddle raft and a couple of dory boats. Great professional photography. I think most of you would enjoy it if you are willing to pay the gate freight.

How much did it cost?

Anyone know if this is playing in Little Rock?

I just checked the Imax Theater in LR at the Aerospace Education Center and they are not currently showing it :( . The website is http://www.aerospaced.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Also, if they do get around to showing it, take advantage of their Friday night family night rate. Admission is $5.50 each with a free soft drink and popcorn .

As we drove down Chenal in LR the other day, I noticed that there's going to be an Imax at that new theater. Don't know if it's open. The shopping center looked to still be under construction. Someone from LR could probably tell us. Maybe they'll open soon and show it. Our family would certainly like to see the movie.

The website for the movie is grandcanyonadventurefilm.com. There is a search function to help you find a theater where it is showing, also some nice pics and trailers. mike
