Rack question

Post by lbaker » Mon Aug 04, 2008 9:47 am

I have a Yakima rack and due to gas mileage, remove it when not carrying a boat. My question is, does anyone else have issues with the clear base pads coming off? A couple of mine fall off easily. Not sure super glue is the right remedy as I know the pads wear out over time and need to be replaced. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Leigh

Just a little silicone caulking will do the trick. All but a trace will pull free when you do go to replace them.
