I'm sure Dave, et al are spot on about the Pacos - they look pretty plush.

But a good alternative is a couple of Thermarests velcroed to each other back to back. One of mine is a 3/4 length backpacking model and the other is a full length plusher thickness.

Rob, I've been using that sticky backed velcro, but it will slip out of place a little. Might look into having it sewn into the edge seams. Does anybody know of an industrial strength textile glue that would work?

I hadn't thought of it before, but the # of pads you could put together is pretty unlimited. Bet you could put together a stack that would make Dave Reid jealous!

High pressure duct tape is your friend!

I picked up a Trail Lite last week. It's not very thick, but it's comfortable when laying on your back. If you roll on your side, body parts tend to press through to the ground. I'm going to pick up a Z-Lite next time I'm out of town. I don't trust inflatables anymore for long trips.
