American Whitewater has the best database and forums for whitewater accidents. You might look thru there for helmet data.

I meant type II, my bad. They are usually the more severe ones. How do you know all this stats mumbo jumbo? I am psychology grad student and have to do research design a lot, so better not let my profs see that I made an incorrect statement. Dont tell anybody.

I admit not jumping in and reading all the links, but was wondering if those of you who know a lot more about this (than I) believe that EVERYONE should trade in or replace their ProTec or just those who primarily kayak?
