Semi dry guy
Semi dry guy
I'm done with the latex gaskets. I would rather get a little wet than choked any day of the week. That being said does anyone have a semi dry top that they really like? I'm trying to decide between the NRS motion soft shell and the X-pert Flex at www.extrasport.com Anyone tried either of these?

I have the NRS neoprene push thru neck with latex wrist gaskets.
I have been using it since last fall when they went on sale to now going to the lake for roll practice.
I am very impressed with it. I have the Stolquist heavy duty latex neck and wrist gasket on my standard dry top for cold weather.
The neoprene neck seal so far has been dry as the latex while doing roll practice.
Have not done a swim yet, and do not want to, but I am really surprised at how dry the NRS semi dry neck gasket has been.

The factory latex gasket will try it's best to suffocate you on the side of the river, if you have not trimmed them to fit your neck.(or unless you are Ethiopian)
If trimming isn't working for you the Immersion Research semi dry tops and bottoms seem to work really good. A little water will run down the back of my neck after rolling. However,,,, everything is relative.
