Paul, they look like real Glaciers, which are considered the best by many for cold weather, and are a steal at that price. I have no idea what foldback thumbs mean, maybe that's explained on Glacier's website, or I need my first cup of coffee..

Glacier Gloves

Post by Jim Krueger » Thu Jan 03, 2008 8:31 am

I bought Marlo a pair of Glacier gloves for Christmas, after reading how well some of you like them, they seem to be as nice as you said. I did pick the fold back style since Marlo is a fisherwoman :) The thumb and index finger have a split down about an inch and a half, this should work well for rod&reel operation. The two split glove digits have a dot of Velcro on the back so the tip can be folded back and secured.

Hopefully next time there is a run on the Cadron maybe I can borrow what I need to go and get stuff as I go..... Thanks Paul
