I have a Jackson 4fun model before they came with water bottle holders. Is there an easy way to install one? (easy being without a drill or other power tools). Or is there a website that sells kits for this? I talked to Don at OOO and he suggested Velcro to the floor and to the bottle.

Velcro or a webbing strap on the floor could work like Don suggested. Another option is to put some bungie through the foam pillar so that it would hold a bottle upright. I've done that in a few boats. What I do to prevent the bungie from eventually tearing through the mini-cell foam, is I put the bungie inside plastic tubing or a very small diameter pvc pipe that I cut to the width of the foam pillar (which is usually 3"). The tubing or pipe will hold the bungie in place and keep it from wearing down the foam. FYI - to "drill" the hole in the foam pillar, I used what I think was a 1/4" wood drill bit, but I just turned it by hand (I didn't want to have to remove the pillar to be able to drill it, and a drill wouldn't fit in there). You probably could accomplish the same thing just using an awl.
Chester has this set up, too - not sure if he used a drill to get his tubing or pipe in there. If you see either of us, we can show you how we have it set up in our boats.
How's your knee doing by the way? I hope you're healing up and will be back at the pool soon and ready to paddle next time we get some rain!

That sounds easy enough. I thought that foam was stronger than that. There are two hoses coming out of the foam. One to pump up the air bladder, one to let it out. Should I drill (stab hole) above, below or in between those things? Theres got to be some hard plastic in there somewhere that needs avoiding. I have a small bungee from a backpack that I could cut off to fit that small of a hole.
As for the knee it hurts, and I'm bored. Surgery is on the 14th. Should be back in the water ~3 weeks after that.
