Re: NW Chapter meetings
We are excited to announce that our May monthly meeting will be IN-PERSON at the West Fork Riverside Park on Monday, May 24th, at 7pm!
We are so very excited to have an in-person monthly meeting again, and hope to see the faces of our lovely chapter members and new friends who may be interested in joining the club.
This will be an outdoor meeting at (or near) the park pavilion. Please bring your own picnic dinner and chair/blanket to sit on. Also, be sure to park only in designated parking spots, to avoid getting a ticket (this is often strictly enforced).
We ask that everyone follow the CDC COVID-19 safety guidelines and be respectful of others. Current guidelines may be found here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nc ... rings.html.
We look forward to seeing your smiling faces in-person this time!

Re: NW Chapter meetings
**Updated location for the May monthly meeting!** We're now meeting at the Don Tyson Park pavilion in Springdale. In Google maps, search "Rotary Adventure Park" in Springdale. The main playground/pavilion is where the pin rests, which is off 48th Street, across from the St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
The meeting will still be on Monday, May 24th at 7pm. Bring your own picnic and chairs/blanket. We look forward to seeing you there!

Re: NW Chapter meetings
The November monthly meeting will be at...drumroll please... Azul Tequila in Springdale! That's right- at a restaurant, with hot food and drink options available, indoors. Woohoo! This month's meeting feels extra special, as it will be the first at a restaurant since covid. Fiesta!!
We will be discussing upcoming NW Chapter board nominations, the Christmas party in December, trip reports, and just generally catching up with everyone over a hot meal indoors. Feel free to come early and socialize. We hope to see everyone there! (*cue fiesta music)
When: Monday, November 29th at 7pm (the space is reserved for 6:30 to mingle)
Where: Azul Tequila, 960 N 45th St, Springdale, AR 72762 (right off exit 73)

Re: NW Chapter meetings
I'd like to propose an item for the club to approve funds for winter boat ball and roll sessions.
I spoke to Lee Slusarek from the NWA club where the club was doing boatball in the winter. He really likes the club being there and would be happy to host boatball and or sat roll sessions. Chlorine prices have gone way up -he was still figuring out the numbers but a max would be $85/session (2 hour boatball and/or 10-1 Saturday rolls). Can we get some kind of agenda item/vote for the next meeting to approve funds? Or something at the Jones center?
I propose that the club approve funds for 2x/month boatball sessions (assuming @wiredforsound or someone else is interested in shepherding) and 2x month or more on Saturdays for roll sessions.
