I feel sort of stupid. I googled thigh braces. Yes there are padded pads on both sides. Didn't know they were called braces! Jane.

I think jvfayard may have been asking about the kind of thigh brace that's meant to allow you to lock your thigh/knee into the kayak in order to roll it. If that's the case then no, the Zydeco does not have those.
