NW Chapter: Paddle Chats

The NW Chapter will be starting a fun, new online event: Paddle Chats!

The first chat will be held Wednesday, July 22nd at 7pm (online), and we will be discussing thunderstorms. What are you supposed to do if a storm sneaks up on you and you're already on the water? Please join in the discussion, led by Rob, to tell us your experiences and learn from others who have been there.

The goal of the chat is to be informative and information sharing. The NW Chapter is hoping to make these chats a new addition to our offerings, separate from the regular monthly meetings. If it's well attended, we'll keep the chats coming, so we hope you'll join us!

A zoom link to join the chat will be posted below in a reply, shortly before the start time.

And similar to the NW Chapter meeting thread, info about future "chats" will be posted below, in the replies.

Double chat announcement today!

The September paddle chat will be all about different types of boats. The type of water you want to paddle typically determines the type of boat that would be best. This chat session will be full of ideas that could help you choose the type of boat that could best fit your needs.
Tuesday, September 15th at 7pm

Our October paddle chat will be about cold weather paddling gear and what to wear when the temps start dropping.
Tuesday, October 13th at 7pm
