Caddo River float on Saturday, 20 April

The weather forecast for this Saturday looks very nice for the sunshine and pleasant temperature potential, Marlo and I are tentatively planning a trip from Caddo Gap to Glenwood if the water levels will also cooperate and will hold at a minimum to decent level by put-in time.
I'll check on things early Friday morning and make another post by noon. Any interested parties would be welcome.

Great, Marlo and I will look forward to the company! The rain put the river in good shape, I'm guessing it will be in the 6.3ft. range by tomorrow which should make for a nice trip. Lets meet at 11am under the Glenwood bridge as usual.
Keith, if you aren't familiar with the area, you will cross the hwy 70 bridge at Glenwood, then turn left on hwy 8 and immediately turn left on the gravel drive leading down to the river. If you have any questions about the meeting spot or the river, just call or email me.

We had a very nice day on the Caddo today! The level of about 6.30ft. was just right, and the weather just the best. Thanks Chris&Andy, and Ed for joining us!

Keith, I'm sorry we missed connections today, we waited at the meeting place until almost 11:30 before deciding to go on. I wanted to call you but didn't have your phone number. Later, out on the river, I saw your email. In that cell-challenged area, it takes longer than usual for emails to soak in and show up on my old phone. Maybe we can try again sometime.
