On behalf of the Paws and Claws Pet Shelter (Madison county-- county tax dollars are unavailable), I thank the ACC board, Brad and Turner Bend for allowing the shelter to set up and sell pies. Thank you to all those who bought slices of pie (and hopefully, really enjoyed them) and to the many who also gave donations to the shelter. Thanks for buying your pooch homemade biscuits, too. Paws and Claws hopes to be allowed back next year.
The staff and pie selling crew had a good time, and enjoyed the friendly boaters and the music. Thanks, also to Steve and Ryan and the Catfish Crew for showing the shelter folks where to set up, etc. The pies sold out! Thank you!
