Archy Fork(Archy Creek)
Archy Fork(Archy Creek)
Does anyone know another put in so this float will be shorter than 20 miles to the Clinton bridge take out? I've heard they've opened a new park that can be used for a put in or take out but I'm not familiar with it.

Re: Archy Fork(Archy Creek)
The Nature Conservancy purchased land that allows access. To whom, I'm not quite certain. Dues paying ACC members I think. Not sure about just anyone. Also not sure of how to go about gaining access. Guessing someone can add to this with more info.

Re: Archy Fork(Archy Creek)
I used to do the lats 5 or so miles above 65 bridge. Used to take out in the park behind Subway because we could drive right to the river. Not no more. Used to be a marking on the bridge support that told good level. Not no more. Also a rope swing that could be used as a indicator. Need I say it again?
Park has changed. New bridge. Rope swing gone. If you have good water coming over the ledges just above the 65 bridge, it should be a decent level. As in, water over 3/4 or more river width where the rock crosses the bed. Not sure good water is there now. If we get the tropical wave forecasted???? may be
