L4 ACA SWR Instructor Course

If you are interested in becoming an ACA Swiftwater Rescue Instructor we will be conducting a Level 4 Instructor Certification Workshop near Hardy AR on the Spring River. The dates for the course are Instructor Development Workshop March 31- April 2, 2017 and Instructor Certification Exam April 21-23, 2017. The cost for the program is $550 plus ACA membership and SEIC dues. Each candidate will be responsible for their own travel and lodging for the event. We will base most of our dry land training out of River Side Resort and most people plan to camp at that location. This is an intensive 6 day program that is designed to get you ready to teach SWR techniques, it is not a skill course and you should already have good SWR skills to consider taking part. While it is our desire that everyone will certify at the top level certification is not guaranteed as a result of this program, all certifications are performance based gauged by the ACA standards.
