Hello everyone,
Need cheap suggestions for hauling canoe. I have a Toyota tundra. I tried buying truck bed mounted ladder rack but wouldn't fit truck. What are some other options?

Cheapest option is canoe hauling kit that comes with four foam blocks that you fit onto your gunnels and strap it down along with bow and stern lines tied to bumper, hitch, towhook, or whatever.

Strapped in the bed, angled toward the passenger side, with the tailgate down won't work? I did that for a long time with a single cab F-150 and 16'-17' canoes. Only got stopped by the police once.

What paddledog said plus a Darby Turbo Rack is another cheap option and you will still have room for gear in the bed. Most of the bed extenders can go out for bed hauling or up for roof hauling. Harbor Frieght usually carries the bed extenders and will run sales often if there is a Habor Frieght near you.
