Ouachita River

I have seen this near I30 after the dam was opened. Was definitely not canoe safe. Wondering when or if one may be able to canoe this, possibly from the dam to Grisby Ford Road. I'm seeing that is approx. a 10 mile run?

I assume you mean Remmel dam that impounds lake Catherine. If so it's a nice little float up to about 3500 CFS. Most people take out at the WW play park in Rockport. Great way to spend a dog days Saturday afternoon.
