Father's Day Full Moon Flatwater Float, Sunday June 19

Meet at Sugar Loaf Recreation Area boat ramp (on shore of Greers Ferry Lake off Hwy 92 and 337) at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, June 19. We will paddle out to and around Sugar Loaf Mountain (an island in Greers Ferry Lake). The moon rise will be at 7:44 p.m., so our paddle should be well under way to watch the moon from the water (hoping for clear skies). Bring a headlamp or flashlight.

Sulphur Creek Outfitters in Heber Springs rents kayaks, canoes, and SUP's and would be willing to transport them to and from Sugar Loaf Recreation Area boat ramp if there is sufficient interest (at least several boats per Darren, the manager). Arrangements can be made directly with Sulphur Creek Outfitters (501) 691-0138.
