I'm planning on doing some shopping at the Gilbert Store tomorrow....
Well, that's just an excuse. I'm planning on going from Hwy 65 down to Gilbert tomorrow, and company is welcome. I'll be going pretty slow, doing a little light weight cleaning, and stopping to hike the gravel bars at a couple of places because I'm looking for something that was reported washed away in a flood. Anyone who joins can just relax and float, I'm not looking for volunteers, just company and possibly a shared shuttle.
General Logistics:
Departing Conway at 9:30
Meet at Gilbert at about 11 to 11:15, drop a car and head back to Hwy 65.

TRIP REPORT:
Great day on the Buffalo, prime mission accomplished, we found the dumpster we were looking for! We also snagged 5 tires, a dog feeder, a metal door of unknown origin, some geo tex matting, an old oil lamp, and some smaller trash. (Grinders ferry to Gilbert). Another fun day is already being planned to get the things we couldn't get today. Participants included myself, Debo, Jon and Pamela Elwood, Chris, Dee, and Mark Elkins, Stewart Noland, and Eddie.
This was sort of a combined trip, so I'm also going to just cross reference some of what is already out there in cyberspace.
Pam's written report on the day is at the end of this thread: http://forums.arkansascanoeclub.com/vie ... 19&t=28802
My photos on Facebook for the day (public, so non-Facebook users should still be able to browse:) https://www.facebook.com/groups/3754355 ... 810152292/
