Outfitter with best selection?
What outfitter has the biggest selection of ww boats for beginner? OOO in Hot Springs, Austin Kayak in Houston, or some place like OKC, Tulsa or else. Also any place have Kakatoot drysuits for sale or sizing. I am from east Texas (Longview) and don't mind 5-6 hr drive for good selection. Any suggestions on boats. I am 5 ft 8 165 lbs, strong paddler, planning on paddling things like Cossatot at levels of 4 ft and the like.

I don't have any experience with TX area outfitters. OOO in Hot Springs has good selection of boats and gear but you could call them and ask about specific numbers, Kokatat in stock, etc. I think a few phone calls would get you the specific info you're looking for and perhaps save some travel time.
On the other hand, if you're heading to AR to paddle, might as well build in some time for a trip to OOO. Not far from Cossatot or Little MO.

Thank you for the input. They are the closest to me. Guess I'll go try on some boats there to start with.

OOO is a great place to spend some time checking out boats and gear. They're fine with you pulling down boats from where they're hanging to try them on for size. Anything they don't have in stock they can get pretty quickly. And they know kayaking; they're not just a showroom with sales personnel trying to move merchandise! They're very supportive of the local paddling, supporting all kinds of events.
