Well.... My Dagger Caption took a significant flight and has a crack, all the way through in a couple of spots. No loose pieces or "holes." Crack runs from where thwart connected down to about halfway across the bottom. Across the boat, not length ways. I may try tonight to get a pic on here.
So question??? Is this repairable? Not advised?
Good news!!! My glue seat job in held!!! I had just got this boat from Weshark to tandem with my 11 year old. We were ready to give her a try. It was on the porch of my recently tornadoed living room.

You sure this is on the right channel?
Re: Caption repair
Clif, when you post some pics of it then it will be easier to advise you on it. Just off hand, I would think that you could repair it and use it on easier waters (Buffalo, Cadron, etc.) without too much worry.
Let us know if you need any assistance on clean-up days when the weather breaks. Glad it was not any worse!

Re: Caption repair
Clif, there are several guys on http://cboats.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; who can give you very specific in depth advice, including best materials to use, how to use them, etc. for getting that boat back into fighting shape. There are also a few on http://www.paddling.net/message/who" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; can do the same. There's one gentleman in particular I have in mind and I'll send you his email address. Best of luck with everything.
You come too.
