2016 Jackson Rockstar review ! With video....

Thanks to the guys at Ouachita Outdoor Outfitters, I've been in the new 2016 3rd gen jackson rockstar for 2 weeks now. The 2 months before that I was paddling the 2015 2nd gen and before that paddled the first gen.
I'm going to concentrate on the 3rd gen in this review!!
WOW what a improvement over the 2nd gen!! The first thing I noticed about the 2016 is the funky new shapes on the nose and stern. It may look a little funny but it sure does work. Upon getting in the boat, first thing I noticed was the seat height felt really high. I have to admit I didn't really like that at first.... You notice I said at first!!! The higher the seat, the more leverage you have, making it easier to throw the boat around!!! So out to the hole I went, started out with 3 more ends than I usually got in the older rockstars. Next up I thought I'd just try the ol phonix monkey..... Hit the first 4 I threw!!!! Usually I'm 1 for 10..... Loops go bigger but shallower, somehow, can't explain it, but I never hit the bottom in a hole that is known for bottom bouncing.(Rockport cartwheel hole)
The next thing was the speed of this boat, it wants to accelerate down in the hole or wave. This takes a little getting used to initially, but you will soon find this speed helps you stay in the hole after aerial moves and flying back down the wave after your big blunts or what have you.
So to wrap this new 2016 rockstar up in a summary.... It's like having a easy button!!!!
