Cossatot First Timer

Post by kru1 » Sat May 16, 2015 11:06 pm

Great group. Around 30 support boaters and 25 first timers. Water was on the lower end, but there. Weather held. Made the best of an awesome day.

There's always one in the group that doesn't realize a group photo is being taken, and it is my camera

This was a great trip for both the first timers and the safety boats who for the most part all knew each other. Thanks to both Heather and Chris. Their advance preparations allowed the day to move along smoothly. Thanks again it was good to see so many friends. BOB

Indeed a great day. Heather and Chris did a super job herding all these cats and keeping the group moving safely down the river.

I really can't thank you all enough for yesterday. It was an fantabulous day from start to finish. A huge thank you to Heather and Chris for pushing forward with this event with flawless execution, and a huge thank you to everyone wearing the green tape, for without you, there would be no event. I will endeavor to be one of those green tape wearing individuals.

I'm sure you will be there one day Daryl. I like the pic of Cory running the machine, it shows the support that was there. 7 helmets with green tape (if you count Chris upstream which I cut his head off, and myself on rock just downstream in case someone missed the first timer). Awesome event, Chris and Heather made it run like clock work.
