Caddo on Sunday the 26th

The Caddo rose to almost ten feet last night and is now back to 8.22ft this morning, hopefully it will still be in the 6ft.+ level tomorrow morning. I'm going to make tentative plans to float the Narrows to Glenwood section. Meeting others interested at the Glenwood bridge about 10:30.

Thia and I are interested.

That's to say, not yet committed as my back's been royally jacked up since our last soiree down there 10 days ago when I got stung twice on the shoulder by a friggin' wasp during my return shuttle run. I paddled with tendonitis in the right arm which had been causing me to sleep awkwardly, then the wasp sting on the left shoulder left me sleeping like Scarecrow before Dorothy came along. The next day, you'd've thunk I'd been attacked by flying monkeys, the way I was so contorted and in so much pain. It's been a long week of slow recovery . . . .

BTW, Jim, or whoever: Thia's best friend and her husband are coming up next weekend and want to kayak. I'm about to post that we need a fourth boat and/or shuttle buddy. We'll do Remmel-Rockport, Caddo, or Dragover.
