WTB Boat for Small Paddler

Post by stanleyjs » Mon Apr 13, 2015 8:57 am

Hi,

My girlfriend wants to get a beginner friendly playboat or river runner. She wants something that fits her pretty well - she's pretty small @ around 120 lbs and 5'3". Show me your boats!

Sounds like she and I are pretty similar in sizing. I use a Jackson 2Fun and a Dagger Mamba 7.6. Both work great for me. Best of luck in your search.

I have a wave sport EZ I am parting with for $200. My son loved it, but he belongs to the marines for a while now and will probably need a bigger one when he is done. He was about 5'8" 140 pounds and loved the boat.

Nice! I love that run. It's had a little more water on it both times I've been able to run it. We ran lower while all the big dogs ran upper, both times. Seth says it's fun even way lower, if I remember right.-M-
