Little Missouri from HWY 84 down
Little Missouri from HWY 84 down
Would 3.5' be an ok level to float from HWY 84 down to lake Greeson? Thanks for your input!

Too Low. American Whitewater says that 4.5 is minimum but it can be run as low as 4.0 before scraping and or walking. Wait for more water and you will be rewarded with a great trip in both scenery and whitewater. Be aware of Meeks Falls on in the last few miles. Its a 3 foot river wide ledge not mentioned in any of the publications that I have read. The ledge is best run close to the river left bank. BOB

You can also cut off the last bit of flatwater paddling into the lake by taking out at the end of W Oldom Road/12000 off of hwy 369.
There is a power line that crosses the river not too far above Meeks Falls. When you see the power line, start looking for a horizon line!

Man, google earth just amazes me...if you so desire you can find where Meeks Falls is at (the very obvious river wide ledge) as well as the power line that I referenced above. Just amazing.
