Glad you have directions...wish you and Marlo could join us...haven't seen ya'll in a while. Saw your trip last week but I had to work at the shelter. Hope to paddle with ya'll soon.

Thanks so much for the kind offer. I'm pretty sure that Jim's directions will get us there, though. We are really looking forward to meeting up with some past friends as well as meeting some new ones. It appears as though it will be a perfect day.

Trip report:

Beautiful day on the Caddo River today. Lots of sunshine and lots of wind. There was a nice group of 7 people. I enjoyed visiting with everyone! We didn't see much wildlife at all except turtles, turtles and more turtles. Missed seeing any Great Blue Herons, Green Herons or Kingfishers...thought that was a bit odd.

Hope to see ya'll on the river soon!

Thanks for your trip report Cindy, and organizing our trip today!

I know we all had just the best time. I thoroughly enjoyed the floating and the conversations, and the river level was very nice. I was pretty tired afterward, had to sit down at the McClards counter and shoot the breeze with the waitresses while they were 'fixing' my ribs to take home It was such a fun day! Thank you.

What a perfect day! It just doesn't get any better than a beautiful day on a gorgeous river with genuine friends. Without a doubt, paddlers are some of the kindest folks. Noah must have thanked me at least three times on the way home for taking him floating. For me, floating is more than a "want to". Getting outdoors seems to renew my soul. Thanks to all of you who made this trip possible.
