Got a large group together for a full day float down the Frog on Sunday.
We did the Ribbit Run from Lancaster down to Rudy. The level was 3.1 on the gauge, and in my opinion about the highest level I will float that section. Any higher I go further upstream. In all we had 18 boats at the put-in. Weather was border line chilly but manageable. A majority of us played the hell out of the river, but a few bombed down to the take out much earlier then we did.
Unfortunately, Dennis Buchella is right, this section is in dire need of a cleanup or realistically a few. I bet it has been decades since it was last cleaned. It is too beautiful of a section and too fun of a float to be that trashed. Suggestions?

I say, and I intend it emphatically, let the river be.

We ran that section both Friday and Saturday. I picked some trash and a cool hardhat. Last month we ran it and I was able to drag part of a trashed "job johny" out. It really is in need of our help. Count me in!-M-

I will help clean up the Frog and maybe surf a few waves along the way!

I'm for doing a Frog clean up. I always get a bag of trash every time I paddle it but I don't seem to be making any head way.
