I hated to hear this news. Mitchell, as Josh has mentioned was a pioneer in our sport! I remeber when I was just a kid looking up to Mitchell, Mat, Scott, Chris, Jason and Lance and I'm sure im missing a few . They always had the latest and greatest playboat like the discos, pinballs and the zwo! Mitchell was alway pushing the limit of what you could do in the new play boats. One day on the piney they were putting in and rolled up and they were like come on man you can run with us if you want! I just about geeked out!!! Paddling with Mitchell and those guys that day turned me into a playboater!! That's my Mitchell memory! Great guy and hell of a boater! Arkansas lost a legend in my book.
