Which brings us to the question of how much did we raise? Well we collected $2,027 over Saturday and Sunday. We also had a $50 gift card for if there was a boater that competed in all three classes, no one did that this year. That gets added to what we collected. So after deducting the $75 for the cost of ACA insurance, the grand total raised was:
Also a huge thanks to the Safety team. Without this group of people who helped us make sure we kept the carnage to minimum, this event would not have happened. Some racers owe a few of these men and women a beer, next time they see 'em. So here is everyone that traveled to the event. If you see them some time, give them a pat on the back. They deserve it after braving the water, the cold temps, and the very strong winds we had to deal with on Sunday.

If I misspelled any of your names, it was because I was trying to read your handwriting on the ACA forms
The timing team was also a godsend. Without their accurate time keeping, this event coudl have gone sideways quick.
If you were a racer you met Monica Winters, Rachel Moritz, and Luke Coop. But some of those that made friends with the safety team before crossing the finish line, did not get to meet Cate Davis. Also, huge thanks to Steve Shepherd for letting us borrow his digital timers. Without those, we would have had some issues keeping time.
Also big thanks to Graham for being the Treasurer.
Thanks to all the members from the Ark-La-Tex and Northwest chapter for helping me getting this done.
