Where and on what? Don't say "on a fly rod". Don't say "right corner of mouth". good for you. those fish are generally pretty cooperative.

Haha, that's why I go there. I'm terrible at catching trout. However, if they are "pretty cooperative", it shouldn't matter what I caught them on, right? Plz detect my attempt at humor.

Used: sowbug, buggers, and san juan worms.

Thanks for looking!!

If they won't hit those flies, go home or get out the spinning rod and a Thomas buoyant spoon. If they don't hit that, go home or just keep casting and enjoy being on the river. We won't mention the "other" option that might include the word "power".

Exactly! I was careful not to mention the "power" when I spoke about boaters in my blog...don't want to offend anyone.

All that tech talk about all them fancy lures and jigs and spoons, etc. . . . . That makes my brain spin. I thought a jig was what my gal and I do on Friday nights down at the Dance Barn. And a spoon is fer scoopin' up my Cocoa Puffs before headn' off to stamp out ign'ance and aperthy.

I'm thinkin' it''d be more simpler just to keep one purty girl trout and one honkin' hunk trout in a bucket. Put one on the hook and toss it out yonder in the crick. Then . . . a cooperative trout, maybe even some other kind of fish, will "hit that".

 :drool2:
