6th Annual TVCC Ocoee River race

The 6th annual Ocoee race is happening this Saturday on October 11th. You can find out more here: http://tvccpaddler.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You have to be a member of the Tennessee Valley Canoe Club to race. But that's only $20. And with how many trips I've had out there this year, I can promise you their good people in the TVCC.

They have classes for boats under 9', over 9', for rafts, men/women, canoe, kayak, raft, and hand paddlers. Should be fun times afterwards with an after-race party at OAR. (Maybe dumpy's will open up later that night also).

I'm leaving for the race on Friday October 10th at 3pm from little rock. And being back late late Sunday night.

Camping at AU on Friday night, racing Saturday, then camping at OAR saturday night. And At least one lap on the river Sunday. The goal is to be on the road by 4pm Sunday. But if the tellico is running on Sunday, I'll be getting back a lot later then anticipated.
