Female paddlers,
If you have not taken a SWR course but you paddle (even infrequently), you need to take this course. I took a class w Tom and these two ladies last year, and it was a wealth of knowledge. Even though I took level 4 and 5, I'll probably take another level 4 down the road as a refresher. Don't miss out on this opportunity. If you think you don't need it, you're mistaken. If you think you only paddle class 1 and 2 water and don't need it, you're wrong. I paddle only about six times per year, and my kids and I have gotten ourselves in some scary situations. To summarize...you NEED to take this course.

Thanks go out to Judy and Lorraine for a great class. Learned a lot. Would definitely recommend that everyone take a swiftwater training course, whenever a convenient one becomes available to you. We have several wonderful instructors that you could learn from. The more you participate, the more you learn.

Mike, appreciate all the great pics. Thanks for posting them.

I gained tons of new information, can't wait to practice with my pin kit, I have a stump in my backyard that is pinned to the ground by roots we will see how that goes. ( thanks for the suggestion Lorraine) lol :))
I'm defiantly taking this course again next year it is great preparation for true life scenarios on the river.
Hope to paddle with my new friends soon.
