Rendezvous Thanks

Post by Deuce » Mon Sep 15, 2014 10:29 am

I'd like to say thanks for all the kind words of affirmation. As Jeremy said, it's truly a labor of love, and knowing that while it wasn't perfect people were happy with the way things went is to me the ultimate reward. I also appreciate the level of help and participation, both in the events and in the clean-up effort. I hadn't even completely folded one table Sunday morning before five people jumped in to help, and before long there were two or three times that many converging on it and we got it done in short order. That was the pattern all weekend, and because of all the help I was able to have some fun too.

I felt the energy level was great. Saw many smiles all weekend and was especially pleased to hear and see all the kids laughing. They're the future of the club, and I know everyone kept an eye on them (including Little Deuce and her buddy) as they roamed Couchdale.

I'll disseminate a more detailed report later with names, figures, etc. but for now I just wanted say a general thanks to the ACC family for a great Rendezvous!
You come too.

Luke, great job on Rendezvous. It was lots of fun all round. I'm gonna high jack at this point and thank Karen and Dennis Buccella and Ellie Wilson for breakfast Sunday morning. Billy Williams jumped in and was a big help as well.

Rendezvous was fantastic. Luke, thanks for all your hard work and to the other volunteers that gave their time so that everyone was entertained and enjoyed themselves.

Big thanks to Duece, and all involved.

It was my inaugural trip to the vous and won't be the last.

Although myself, HHH and T Bone (Deuce's nickname for the boyfriend) only got to come Sat. It was a great time. Hate that we missed boatball and canoe jousting on Fri. night. I will second what Deuce said about all the kids. Deuce ya did good!
