Rendezvous Dutch oven cook off "rules", etc

Post by Tim Eubanks » Fri Aug 15, 2014 2:07 pm

This is about fun. Serious fun. Oh, and good food. Mostly fun.
No entry fee required.

Charcoal provided by ACC.
Cooking will be done between dining hall and pavilion.
Be ready to plate at 6pm Saturday. Bowls and plates provided
Your dish can be your contribution to pot luck after judges have their portions

This is a "one dish" event. Cook your best and let er rip!
Dishes judged on taste. This year's judges like spicy food, so don't hold back!
Ingredients can be pre-cooked and prepped but final dish must be assembled and cooked in a dutch oven using charcoal in "Dutch oven kitchen stadium"

As of today there are 6 Dutch ovens available don't have one but would like to enter . First come-first cooking on these.
Each chef is responsible for clean up and ash disposal. Water is on site

Follow this thread for updates.
