Dragover Sat Aug 2nd?

Post by Sky Heye » Fri Aug 01, 2014 2:07 pm

Is anyone else interested in paddling Dragover on Saturday? Show up at the campground about 11:30 and make a couple runs for the day. The gauge is showing a good level and should hold thru tomorrow. SEE MY LATEST POST BELOW.

Chris, and Sky,

I had another paddler contact me this afternoon about possible floats, so I referenced him to your posts.
Miss Marlo and I will take a pass tomorrow but I do think the level will be just great and hope you have a very good day!
Erick, I think you will really like this section, nice rapids :D Chris can give you more driving suggestions, but the Google Earth coordinates for the Dragover campground are; 34degrees 38'29.24" N by 93degrees 37'52.54"W

Hey guys! Try to be at the Dragover camp by 11:30. We'll eat lunch and decide if we want to start at Sims and go thru Dragover to its takeout. If you've never been there, from hwy 27 north of Mt. Ida go west on Hwy 88 for about 10 miles or so and turn left at the Dragover signs. Take the right fork when you come to it. If you're coming from the west take 88 east from hwy. 270 to the sign.
This will be about 7 miles or so float with some class one water and a couple of small twos. Nice play holes in the Dragover section. My cell is 501-350-5275. See you by 11:30
