Dragover!

Post by Jeffrey » Sun Jul 13, 2014 9:36 pm

The root ball from Dragover has been removed from water! It should no longer be an issue. Not sure who or how it was moved. But a big thanks to whom ever did it.

Ditto on that. Wonder if the 14' spike last rain event had something to do with that. When did you paddle that section?

My wife and I paddled it yest (Sunday)! I'm not sure it was the rain it was along way up on dry ground. Looks like someone pulled it with a tractor. I couldn't be for sure though. Needless to say it's nowhere near the water any longer

The rain has been moving it the last few times I have gone. I'm betting the last massive rain we had has moved it.

I also think it was probably the last high water surge the river experienced within the last couple of weeks. There was a really large root ball at the entrance to 'Lunchtime Rapid' on the upper Caddo two or three years ago, and over time, the river has moved it on.

Best Regards
Jim
