Lady's Drysuit

Post by Minna Ulmer » Tue Jul 08, 2014 11:37 am

Very nice Stolquist size large with attached booties and plastic zippers. It's a pretty blue color. It is like new and never been water.I bought it new for @ $650.00 about 2 years or so ago. The reason i am selling is that I got clostrophobic every time I just put it on at home to get used to it :? It needs to be enjoyed by someone. I can bring it to Rockport. Price is $350.00 Also have semi dry top size M/L price $35.00. Minna

Hi Minna,
This is Sandy(mom to Caitlin and Noah). Does this drysuit have a dropseat? Have you trimmed any of the gaskets? Has it been stored inside or outside?
Thanks,
Sandy S.

Minna - if it has some kind of relief zipper - either drop seat or regular, I'll take it! Thank you!!

Does not have drop seat. At some point I had tryed drop seat but it was uncomfortable to sit on for me so I didnt look for for that. Not sure i still have the little funnel shaped thing that ladies use for relief whith the standard opening but it works altho it takes a little practice.

I trimed only the neck gasket and only a tiny bit. itwas still too tight. I have a skinny neck,so i don't think that will be a prob.

Minna,
I was desperately hoping that your drysuit had a dropseat. I've been contemplating a drysuit for quite some time, but I couldnt justify a thousand bucks when I've got a kid headed for college. This sounded like a perfect alternative. Sadly, I must decline due to no dropseat. Hope to see you soon.

no prob Sandy an Lorene. The drop seats are prob more comfortable now than a few years when i was looking and certainly easier to use. If either of u or others are going to rockport any time even ssurf and turf or rendzvous i can bring it if someone wants to try it on. NEW PRICE- $275.00

Have you checked with Stohlquist? They could probably add a drop seat for you.

Deuce,
Thanks for the idea. I hadn't even considered that possibility. I have already pm'ed Minna to let her know that I want to purchase it. Everything is perfect for me except the lack of a dropseat. I'm about ten pounds lighter than a "large" according to their specs, but since I'm very cold-natured, I typically have MANY layers (which will add to the bulk). Thanks again for a great idea. Either way, I'm buying it; it's just too good to pass up, and I just can't drop $1,000.00 for a Kokatat GMER (especially with a kid headed to college soon).
Thanks,
Sandy

Good call Ms. Sandy. That's a great deal, and since it was Minna's you can rest assured it's in excellent condition.
You come too.
