Okay, we had a great day on the water. I rolled in about 5 till noon, and everyone was waiting at the ledge already. Attendees included Chris and Hannah Crawford, Sandy and Noah, Karla and Gary Rowland, Minna Ulmer, Jim and Marlo Krueger, and myself. The weather was unbelievable for July 4'th, it didn't seem to get above 85, and on the river itself, it was perfectly cool. No swims to report, and the only carnage to tell of was everyone (read Noah, Gary, and myself) trying our best to keep Hannah from being dry. Also of note was that Micheal Sacomani and I nearly ran each other off the interstate whilst waving at each other between vehicles. His family and friends put in separately and ran the river a little slower than our group. Sorry I didn't get a chance to hang around at the surf rock for you to try my boat, Micheal.
Tubers and Goobers were plentiful on the water as well, although there wasn't so many of them that it was an issue, and I never saw anything that would be considered family unfriendly. I believe that about covers it, thanks to everyone who showed up and enjoyed the trip.
