Payette River Games

Post by Ouachitoff » Sun Jun 22, 2014 12:10 am

They have the stream available online, showing some 8ball now. In case you don't' know what 8 ball is(not that 8 ball!), it's sort of demolition derby meets down-river race. Fairly epic screenshot of a clean hit on the first drop!

check it out: http://new.livestream.com/accounts/8909 ... ts/3114611

Edit: Nice, they uploaded it to their instagram! http://iconosquare.com/p/748012719197313354_486183765

That hurts all the way here in AR!

Wow. Not for THIS guy. I don't need to break my nose on another boat to have a good time. :myday"

** Not to mention that "neck thingy" that attaches your head to the rest of you.

John Pearce competed at the Payette River Games. On day 2 during the semifinals, they captured this dynamic exit of John from his board. The other paddler in the photo had come off his board earlier, and his head appeared out of the water about 6 inches from the front of John's board just as John got to the buoy. John did a quick maneuver that accomplished 3 things: 1) he turned his board and missed the other paddler's head; 2) he provided one of the best photos of carnage at the Games as he exited his board; and 3) his leash went over the other paddler's leash and led to a leash entanglement. I tried to add a copy of the photo, but failed. Hope the link below works. Larry Pearce
