WTB 2 person sit-on-top kayak

Post by jeringray » Mon Jun 09, 2014 4:08 pm

I'm looking to buy a 2 person sit-on-top kayak for my 7 y/o daughter and I to enjoy. I need something the two of us can load/unload off of my Ford Escape, and that we can get righted should we unintentionally, ahem,"go swimming". With her being a novice and me being YEARS out of practice, I also like the sit-on-top option because should we "go swimming", I don't have to worry about her not being able to get out of a traditional kayak and getting pulled under. We're located in NW Arkansas, but I'm willing to travel as far as central Arkansas if the kayak and terms are right. Many Thanks, Jennifer

I have a tandem Malibu sit on top I would sell you it's stable and I'm not sure on the weight
It's at my lake house at Greers Ferry if you would try it out.
I would need $400 for it

Hi Phil,

Does it have any space where you could store and secure a small tote bag or soft ice chest? I have found that floating with a 7 y/o requires packing several snacks and drinks . . .
