Cowper, I tend to be very tangential, so all info is appreciated. that day was the first time to actually use a locking type, and the slight problem with it triggered the info I'd gathered on knots, climbing gear, and SWR (in reading only).

Hilbili you did great I had replaced the pulley with the best I had and forgot to tighten and tell you. My first recovery too,hey if not for you I would have only wrapped the loops only twice. Great learning experience. Thanks to all,Cowper thank you for your patience with me.
