Giving mom a ride on the Big Eddy run!

Post by tomOzarkVideo » Fri May 16, 2014 8:07 am

Her first canoe trip.

She took one look at the Big Eddy shoal and said: " :wht: That looks like a lot of current! I thought you said this was going to be an easy day on a nice little river… :eh: " I replied: " :canoe: It's gonna be an easy day. You won't even have to paddle… Just keep your hips loose and keep your hands off of the gunnels"

I gently talked her down the river. Aside from the two close encounters in the vid, it really was a nice easy day.

Great river to have a first trip on! Looks like she had fun.

Styling it in a tandem. Always fun on the Mulberry.

Great video, didn't even know that you were recording.

Dang, I think I've got something in my eyes. Must be dusty in here. Great job taking your mom down the river, Tom, and she did a great job too. She leaned with her head inside the gunwales and I didn't see one gunwale grab. Way to go guys!
You come too.
