Caddo River Gauge

Post by Cabra Loca 87 » Wed Apr 16, 2014 10:07 am

Did I hear something about the Caddo River gauge being moved or adjusted recently? I may take some relatives up that way next month and wanted to know the new recommended levels if they had changed. I paddled the caddo last year at about 5.25 but would have preferred about another foot of water. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

With "todays" gauge, I ran the upper section (from the Narrows near Caddo Gap to Glenwood) at 5.6' and had a good time. You are probably going to scrape in several areas if you go much under 5.5'. Cindy
