Anybody wanna play hooky from work with me this Fri. (4/11) ? Either paddle Glenwood to Amity on Caddo or Dragover on the Ouachita. Leaning toward Dragover, (maybe put in at Sims to add a little to the trip?) level should hold above 3.5' there. Let me know if you're interested.

Chris,
It looks like good weather for the next several days, and certainly plenty of water on the Upper Ouachita.
Have fun out there, I've got a Dr. appt. Friday.
Best Regards
Jim

I would like to go. Either trip is fine for me. Just let me know where and when. Thanks.

Will do Cindy. Probably firm up plans early tomorrow. Hopefully we'll have at least 3 for a "rule of 3" group. Deuce knows he wants to go

Chris,
I'm gonna let you guys go and have a good time on your day off. You helped shuttle me twice at Rec School last June (think it was you) and I wanted to make sure you had a shuttle on your day off. I've been eager to do a birding float on the Caddo from Glenwood to Amity so I will do that Fri. Have fun!

I still haven't paddled the Caddo and would like to go on Friday. I wouldn't rule out Dragover but would prefer the Caddo.

Glenwood to Amity (Caddo) is a possibility Fri. It's actually closer to home. Doesn't have the rapids of Caddo Gap to Glenwood but, is more remote. Level may be an issue; extrapolation puts it between 5.2'-5.3. This is right at the low end of good water for Glenwood to Amity. Lower is OK for fishing but, because the pools will be still. We can firm up plans tomorrow.

Saturday could have worked for us, but I can't miss during test week. Officially, we are done testing Thursday, but there will probably be some make-ups. Be sure to post when you're going again.

Phew. If y'all had decided on Dragover I would have gone tomorrow which probably wouldn't have been a good thing, so thank you for keeping me out of trouble. I get into enough of it on my own. Have a great float.
You come too.

Sandy,
I would have preferred Sat. myself but, Hannah's Prom is Sat. night so, well, you know....
Deuce (a.k.a. C1CC),
Admit it; you're just scared of that section of the Caddo.
Today's extrapolation puts the Caddo between 5.3-5.4' tomorrow which is a little better. Ouachita will be 3.5-3.6' most likely. Better water and more fun to be had on the Dragover section but, if group consensus is Caddo, then Caddo it is. Minna may come and I am pretty sure her vote is for Dragover but I will check to confirm. If we do decide on Dragover I want to stick to "rule of 3" so that may be our deciding factor. I just really want to get on the water. Got WW School next month and need some warm up trips.

Chris,
I'll do Dragover with ya'll. It sounds like that is really what you want to do. I can do the Caddo Sat. I live close. Water will be best at Dragover. I'm on waiting list for WW School and need to get some miles in also. Dragover will be much more of a challenge than Lower Caddo. Sorry for my wishy-washy-ness. I'll join ya'll what ever you decide.

I'm thinking meet at Dragover CG and set shuttle IF we want to put in up at Sims and add 5 miles to the 3 miles of Dragover. What time do we want to meet? 11:00ish work?

Okay, you're killing me. First, I hope you're not changing streams becasue of me as I may not be able to go at this point. Second, what time do you plan to be off the water in case I can pull it off?
You come too.
