anyone ever float the little Missouri river from hwy 84 to lake Greeson? what water level should I look for, and how long does it take? looks like it would be good fishing.

We just paddled this section on Sunday March 23. It was a very enjoyable float. We ran it comfortably at a little less the 5 foot on the gauge. It's still a good trip with a foot less water. The trip is slightly more difficult than described on the American Whitewater site or Tom Kennon's guidebook. Both mention big waves but fail to mention Meek's falls or several other good rapids. The takeout is Star of the West campground on the north end of Lake Greeson off of U.S.70. It's a fun and scenic run. P.S. The Little Mo. doesn't hold water for very long so go if you see it up as it won't hold for long. BOB

About 3 1/2 hours but we took some breaks, and we took out on Old Tram road knocking off about a mile and a half. BOB
