NWA Fishing?

I noticed there was a Central Arkansas kayak fishing group. Any such thing exist in Northwest Arkansas?

You bet. Check with the cool cats at Ozark Mountain Trading Company and they'll tell you all about it. BTW, if you're referring to the thread in Rec/Touring that's not really about an official group per se. It's just some buds who want to be able to reach each other pronto in case an urgent angling need arises. You're more than welcome to horn in any time.

I was referring to Central Arkansas Kayak Anglers (CAKA). Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out. Ozark Mountain Trading Company, is that the place near Garfield, Hwy. 62 I think?

Several years ago, Don Jackson (owner of Ouachita Outdoor Outfitters in Hot Springs) mentioned a kayak fishing group he was associated with. This might be the group you are thinking of. At any rate, OOO is one of the business supporters of the Canoe Club, their email address is listed on the ACC website if you'd care to visit with Don.

I grew up camping and fishing at Boswell shoals a few miles above the Sylamore. Still get up there when I can.
